BolNote Privacy Policy

What BolNote does
BolNote converts voice notes you choose to share with it into text, a translation, a one-sentence summary and action points. The app is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 18 and over.
Data we process and why

Analytics and crash reports never contain your audio or result text.
The speech model is downloaded once from a public model host (Hugging Face) or from our server; that download contains no personal data.
Service providers
- Anthropic (Claude) — processing of transcript text (translation, summary, action points). Anthropic processes this text on our behalf under its commercial API terms; see Anthropic's privacy policy. Audio is never sent to Anthropic.
- Hostinger — our server and database for accounts, usage and purchases.
- Google Firebase — sign-in, cloud history for Pro users, analytics, crash reporting, App Check.
- Google AdMob — ads for free users. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for consent before ads load; you can change your choice in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Google Play — payments. We never see your card details.
We do not sell your personal data.
Your choices and rights
- Delete a result, all history, or your whole account in the app (Settings), or see how to request deletion without the app.
- Change ad consent in Settings → Ad privacy choices; turn off notifications in Android settings.
- Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or object; contact us at the address above.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Server access is restricted with authentication, App Check and security rules. Audio never leaves your phone.
